Attilio Speciani – Scientific director
Following his graduation in Medicine and Surgery with top honors at only 23 years old, he worked in hospital settings until holding the position of Assistant at the Anesthesia and Intensive Care Unit of the Gaetano Pini Orthopedic Institute in Milan. After completing his hospital experience and obtaining two specializations, first in Anesthesiology and Intensive Care and then, immediately after, the one he loved the most, in Allergology and Clinical Immunology, his scientific and professional activity focused on deepening the immunological relationships between nutrition, glycation, and inflammation, often seeking correlations between different known and studied therapeutic methods.
Since 2014, he has been a lecturer in the Nutrition Masters at the University of Pavia, as an adjunct professor. The title of his course is “Food Inflammation”. Since 1990, he has been an active member of the New York Academy of Science in New York and the European Academy of Allergy and Clinical Immunology (EAACI).
